From any desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone, no matter where the data is located, users are able to access, share, stream and collaborate as if the files were located on their device. Qnext achieves this with a revolutionary patented solution called FileFlex. The benefits are compelling. For example, router manufacturers can embed FileFlex and change it from a device for sharing broadband into a smart two-way information gateway adding cloud, NAS and network infrastructure access capability. About Industry

    1. WiFi Router Market The company's initial target 183 million unit WiFi router market was worth US $15 billion in 2015 and is projected to reach $34 billion by 2020, with penetration of broadband WiFi devices projected to be 70+ percent of global broadband households by 2019. FileFlex disrupts and penetrates this market by providing access to router-attached storage and seamlessly integrating routers with networked storage devices. Discussions with all major router OEMs are well under way. 2. Enterprise Accessible Storage Market The demand for accessible storage has driven explosive growth in both public and private clouds. The public cloud storage market was US $72.9 billion in 2014 with CAGR of 27.6 per cent, the private cloud storage market was US $32 billion in 2013 with a CAGR of 40 per cent and the enterprise file share and sync market (EFSS) representing US $200 billion by 2018.
  • According for Forrester Research a significant shortcoming of cloud storage is that it covers only a small portion of the available business data wuth little appetite to move, migrate, or duplicate content to take advantage of EFSS such that critical content that needs to be remotely accessed or shared often sits in-house and is inaccessible.

  • FileFlex addresses 100% of an organization's storage and meets the increasingly urgent needs of numerous organizations that cannot use existing cloud solutions due to cost, know-how, privacy, security, data residency and regulatory reasons.

About Competitor

The need to access and share is driving the need for always accessible storage and both consumers and organizations are being attracted to the storage of cloud solutions to address this need. With FileFlex, users keep their files where they are. They securely access, share or stream that content right from where it was saved. Users don’t need to build a private cloud or copy anything to a third party provider.
  • Outside of a limited free trial, current offerings are expensive. FileFlex leverages existing storage.

  • Some data can be synced but not all, forcing users to be selective. FileFlex makes 100% of all data accessible and available to be shared from anywhere.

  • The competing services are impractical for streaming large media collections that would require very long upload times. FileFlex grants permission to content from source location so there’s no need to upload before one can access and stream.

  • For organizations, with competing solutions data is still fragmented, some data can be synced but not all, current offerings are expensive, require a high degree of technical integration and have privacy and security issues, outages, and data breaches. All issues that are addressed by FileFlex.
